About this tool
Design your star map
Pick any date, time and place on Earth and we plot the exact night sky that stood over it. Positions are computed from real star catalogue and ephemeris data for the timestamp and coordinates you enter — not selected from a set of stock illustrations. The preview above updates live as you change anything.
Choose a colour theme, background style and your own message, then order it as an instant digital download or a printed poster, framed or unframed.
The same sky can also be worn: our personalized star map necklace engraves it on a 20 mm coin, from $79, gift boxed with your own message.
- What date should I use?
- Whichever moment the chart is meant to mark — a wedding night, a birth, a first date, or a day someone is remembered. The sky is computed for that exact timestamp.
- How accurate is it?
- Every visible star is placed from its catalogue position for your date and location, using the same celestial-mechanics methods our founder works with as an astronomy PhD candidate.
- How fast is delivery?
- Digital charts arrive by email within minutes. Printed items ship free and tracked to 35 countries (the US, Canada, the UK, Europe and Australia).
