What to engrave around the rim
The rim takes up to 32 characters in small capitals along the bottom edge. Name the night, not the feeling: a date and a place say more than “forever”. The designer fills your date in with one tap.

What is a night we met necklace?

Are those really the stars from the night we met?
Yes. Each star is placed for the latitude, longitude, date and time you enter, from the same catalogue planetarium software uses. The pendant carries every star brighter than magnitude 3.7 and the constellation lines between them, plus the Moon in the phase it really had that night if you add it.
What if I do not know the exact time we met?
Use the closest time you know. Within an hour the same constellations sit in nearly the same places, and the Moon barely changes phase, so "around 9 pm" gives a faithful sky.
Can I see it before I buy?
Yes. The designer draws your pendant live as you choose the place, date and words, with a close-up loupe and an actual-size view. The preview is free and needs no account.
How long does delivery take?
Each necklace is engraved in 2 to 5 business days, then shipped free with tracking: about 4 to 10 business days door to door in the US, 7 to 15 in Canada and 5 to 11 in the UK. It ships to the US, Canada, the UK, the EU and Australia.
Is it real gold?
The gold and rose gold finishes are 18k gold ion plating over 304L stainless steel, not solid gold. The steel finish is polished stainless steel. Stainless steel resists tarnish; plating can wear with friction over years of daily wear.
What if something is wrong with it?
If it arrives damaged, misspelled or not as you designed it, tell us within 30 days and we remake it or refund you, with nothing to send back. Because each one is engraved to order, it cannot be returned for a change of mind.
